Time For Dreams

Do you feel sometimes this way: when you’ve made up very exciting plans, you’re all looking forward to it, making arrangements, etc…then suddenly, everything stopped…not because it stopped by itself, but rather because as of a sudden, you felt exhausted from all your efforts, unsatisfied from your achievements so far and generally “can’tbebotheredanymore” …

Have you ever had these moments, when you held your dream ever so close to you and suddenly let it go for a ridiculous reason of being too tired to do something about it?

I think dreams meant to happened only when it’s time for them to be…I wonder, how to be sure, when it’s time – for one of yours?

  1. Oh no.. Mr. bill ;0

I did a search here for you .. using miss tick as key words and got a list of about 45 entries using tick.. Try it.. quite funny

  2. I agree, maybe moving in the wrong direction is what it is. I do that often, get so close then blah. Almost like a burn out but more like a fizzle. It no longer appeals to me. I kind of think in my case, a more pressing or important dream is in place of that one so it just takes a back side lol. Anyway, I am not surprised if that quote is wrong. I get a lot of those and usually don’t post them. My daughter is religious, no wait let me change that…….very religious with her church and takes it all as gospel. Thank you.

I sure am looking forward to hammock time. It is one of the few things that actually calms me and puts me at peace.

  3. Without the dreams wouldn’tlife be prosaic and awfully dull?

OK, so they don’t pan out always. Neither do the bad things we worry about.

Dream on. Keep the color in your world.

    Shalom

  4. It is in all ways time for one of mind and while I know the exhaustion of final preparations to meet a dream come true… they are usually rewarded in kind… and what we depart with is a wave of pleasure and a hand to hold… it is for me at least all ways time for one of mine…

  5. Oh yes, I’ve had times like those… it took me three years to finish my dissertation because of that sudden loss of interest… it’s like one moment I had so much passion for what I was doing, and the next moment… eh… couldn’t be bothered anymore. I eventually finished it up, but I had to kick myself in the arse a few hundred times to get myself moving!
