Better Late Than Never

So, here I am with a blank page in front of me…what shall I do…to write or not to write is not a question….the question is – what is to write about…I can go brief and to the point or I can do a long entry about nothing so that the readers will be lost somewhere half of the scrollable way…I read some opinions that DD has been over taken by the modern social media for a busy lifestyle…I have to say I do use FB a lot. In my world it is a good way to stay connected and to be on top of the latest happennings within the circle of my friends. I do not have fb friends whom I do not know in real life. DD, on the other hand, gives that particular kind of comfort in knowing that what’s shared here, stays here…and I have no wish to change this. There are certain things I need to say without them being heard, so to speak…and this is a perfect place for doing exactly that.

Long time ago, when DD was very busy and we visited each other’s, we commented, we discussed and even sometimes we’d take our friendship into reality. I think, it’s a feedback feature that was taken over by the other, more flexible internet offerings. But the need to get it off one’s shoulders or to vent off to nobody in particular is still accomodated comfortably by the anonymous blogging and this site is truly doing it well.

So…contradicting to the above, not in particular need to vent off or anything, but merely for the sentimental reasons, here I am, back to my Raggedy Hedge, dusting off the cowebs of time, clearing space for some treats to leave, mainly for my own memories, but also – because I still believe in sharing the wonders of the world as we know it…

But enough of the self-excuses…I do have some exciting things to report since my last visit, so better get on with it…my last post here was …oh gee! – 5 months ago! And I said back then that I was a ticket-close to the yet another Curious Traveller’s dream…to get to the point now – At the begining of this year I have stepped over the hill and celebrated my fifties birthday in style at one of my Bucket List destinations. I went to Cambodia. And this is what my next few entries is going to be about – Cambodian Tales…Let’s go!
