Basically, that’ll be the end of German Tales. There were few other walks, we had, but none of the volume for the entry. So I’ll just mention something else, I’d like to put in for the sake of memories.
Fountains.
These are special memories of Germany. They do like fountains there. Basically, every church or cathedral will have one in front of them. And of course, almost every Market Square as well. (Market Squares – what’s German’s cities main squares are traditionally called)
At some point the fountains we’ve been passing by, became almost a separate feature to see when sightseeing in German’s cities. They are truly the little pieces of art – each one individually designed, original and with some sort of story to tell…Just look at a few of them – you’ll se what I mean:
What I like so much is the age of things over there
we are too young in US.. Everything is modern..
Not the feel of all those years
Two coins tossed into the fountain over one’s shoulder will grant you the wish of your heart
So i’ve heard
😛
I love this idea of fountains to celebrate
there is something healing about running water
well after all it is the essence of life on the blue planet
